In an initiative to show his decades-old hypothesis that people with impairments-- those he refers to as "sensory informed"-- hold the key to opening a sixth sense, maturing neuroscientist Dr. Frederik Amberger seeks a promising college student, Jules Christopher. When it's revealed that Amberger has actually been hiding a key that has him on the run from the FBI, Jules and the team should decide just how much they want to go in their pursuit to unlock the next frontier of human sensory experience.
