By day, Nola Devlin (Poppy Montgomery) is a unassuming, frumpy magazine editor who is overlooked and educated by her colleagues. When the sun sets, though, and she is supporting the warmth along with anonymity of her computer screen, she becomes the famous and"reclusive" information columnist Belinda Apple. Nola's friends, tired of being overworked and overweight, group together to develop the"Cinderella Pact," attempting to shed weight by following the advice of the"fairy godmother," Apple. Nola has been forced to take her alter ego's advice, when her identity is threatened. But, as dress sizes drop, their issues are exposed, along with life changes begin to blossom.
