Russ Richards is a television weather forecaster and local star who is on the verge of losing his shirt in a fashion show. In a desperate attempt to avoid financial catastrophe, he conspires with Crystal, the lotto ball girl for the local television station, to rig the state lottery drawing. The numbers are correct, but everything else goes wrong as the plan begins to unravel and the game becomes more difficult to play.
