Christian and Leonora seem to have everything. After a difficult long-term illness, their son has just been certified well, and they are living the ideal life with him. Leonora observes her husband with architect Xenia, a younger woman, at a company party hosted by Christian's firm. Leonora is aware that Christian may abandon her. Leonora makes a choice on the spot: she refuses to be the lady who was left behind, and she will do whatever it takes to prevent this from happening.
