After the idol group Aqours has won the final Love Live! competition, the remaining members of the group prepare to enroll at a new school, only to run into unanticipated difficulties as the previous members go missing on their route to their graduation trip. While attempting to resolve their own difficulties, the girls learn to recognize the importance of their friendships as they are separated.
