Khaila Richards, a mother, returns the next day in a panic to find he is missing and unintentionally leaves her baby in an emergency while high. In reality, the baby was adopted Margaret Lewin, by a warmhearted social worker, and her partner. Years after, Khaila keeps a constant job and has experienced rehab. She struggles Margaret for that custody after learning that her kid is still alive.
