TV series Lexx recounts the exploits of a bunch of mismatched people onboard the biological spacecraft Lexx. On their quest, they'll cross across into two alternate universes, where they'll see planets like a satirical version of Earth. British Channel 5 has provided some additional cash for this Canadian-German co-production. New episodes from Season 2 were shown on the U.S. Sci Fi Channel in January2000, after Salter Street Films bought the series from the network. Alliance Atlantis absorbed Salter Street Films, which co-produced Lexx. On the Showcase network controlled by Alliance Atlantis, Lexx was shown. The majority of the series was shot in Halifax and Berlin, but there was also work done in Iceland, Bangkok, Namibia, and other places.
