Each year, Isabelle (Tatyana Ali) and Mike (Cornelius Smith Jr.) performed a lovely Christmas duet in their little town's annual Christmas Eve Pageant. However, Isabelle left Mike behind after graduation to attend Juillard in New York. Years later, when Isabelle returns to her hometown to write music for the annual Christmas Eve Pageant, she is taken aback to discover that Mike is directing the production.
