Inspector Gadget is an animated TV series about a clumsy, dim-witted cyborg investigator named Inspector Gadget. Dr. Claw, commander of "M.A.D.," is Gadget's arch-nemesis. It was DIC Entertainment's first syndicated cartoon and lasted from 1983 through 1986. It is still on the air in reruns all around the world. Companies from France, Canada, the United States, Taiwan, and Japan collaborated on the series. The animation was outsourced to Tokyo Movie Shinsha in Japan and Cuckoo's Nest Studio in Taiwan. It was the first animated TV show to be shown in stereo.
