Nick Pearson can be actually just a bachelor who is finally settling down. On the brink of the wedding he is astonished to find he has a 13 year-old son who has come to find his him during the aid of a psychic. The issue is Nick could gladly send back the boy to live with his biological mother, except no body has any clue who might be and can't stand kids. Having Nick to turn has to hit on the road with the boy and the inept psychic to track down heaps of his disgraced ex-flings to whom he needs to ask the matter - having very mixed results.
