Twelve-year-old Gon Freecss one afternoon finds that the father was dead had been alive and well. Ging, his Father, is a Hunter--an associate of the elite having a license of society to go anywhere or do almost anything. Find his dad to prove herself as a Hunter within his own right and gon, chose to follow the gaze of his father, decides to take Hunter Examination. However, on the way, he learns that there is more to being a Hunter than previously thought, and the challenges that he needs to face are seen as the roughest in the world.
