Orphaned and alone aside from the uncle, Hugo Cabret lives in the walls of a train station in 1930s Paris. Hugo's job is to petroleum and maintain the clocks of the station, however to him , his important task will be to protect notebook and a busted automaton left by his late father. Accompanied by a toy merchant's god daughter, Hugo embarks on a quest come across a place and to solve the automaton's puzzle.
