Helene, a pill-addicted anesthesiologist, is in the midst of grieving the loss of her boyfriend when, as a result of an accident she causes, she has the opportunity to meet Gilles, a young man who is couch surfing at his mother's hotel. Helene is immediately attracted to Gilles despite the fact that he is lethargic. Helene eventually becomes more receptive to Gilles' love advances and gives in to their attraction. Gilles, on the other hand, is completely committed to Bernard, a low-level thug who takes great pleasure in robbing gay men. Every one of them is having trouble with relationships that don't appear to be going anywhere.
