An American expert gambler called Jack Weil (Redford) determines to visit Havana, Cuba to gamble. On the ship to Havana, '' he matches Roberta Duran (Olin), the wife of a radical, Arturo (Julia). Shortly Arturo is removed from the police, and Roberta has been tortured and seized. Jack frees her, however, she proceeds to encourage the revolution.
