Professor David Ash exposes mediums and false spiritulists. He's invited to eliminate the anxieties and torments within its family. After arriving Ash begins to doubt his or her own perceptions, and watching the behaviour of its residents does not make his task easier. In time, he finds there's more to Edbrook than he could debunk.
