Collegian Tree Gelbman wakes up in terror to learn that she's stuck in a parallel world. Her boyfriend Carter has become with someone else, and students and her close friends appear to be variants of these. She discovers herself once more the target of a masked killer when Tree finds that Carter's roommate was changing time. Tree soon realizes she must die again and again again to rescue everybody else when the psychopath starts to really go after her circle.
