Imagine if you'd had a six-foot-tall monster to guide you through your adolescent years! Willy is dreading the prospect of moving into the family's new home. He believes it is swarming with evil space invaders that are out to get him. In response to Willy's plea for help, Gooby comes to life as a lovable, full-size, scraggly, orange, fuzzy creature that, in reality, appears to be even more terrified of the world as Willy. Throughout the film, the two characters experience several terrifying situations and learn valuable lessons about friendship. As a result, Gooby fulfills Willy's original request by bringing Willy and his father together in a heartwarming and exciting conclusion.
