Youthful babysitter Amanda arrives at the Lloyd home to invest the night taking care of their young kid. Not long after the Lloyds leave, a collection of frightening incidents in the bleak old house have Amanda's nerves on edge. The actual terror begins, nonetheless, when the youngster's biological father appears after just recently running away from a close-by mental institution.
