Inspired by a true story, this spy drama is set in the social and political chaos of 1968. The matriarch of an American activist family is being pursued by the FBI in Canada for assisting in the smuggling of Vietnam war deserters and draft dodgers across the border. What she doesn't realize is that one of the deserters is a CIA spy sent to spy on her.
