In 1914, a British nurse named Anne (Linn Bjrnland) flees an attack on her African outpost. Hunted by a German-led war party, she goes on an epic trek over the African hill region with the assistance of her uncle, an Army Captain (Eric Roberts), and local warriors. She must strike a balance between bravery and her pacifist views in order to safely transfer a local girl to her mother, reconnect with her husband, and avert a slaughter at a neighboring outpost.
