Dirty Jobs is an app on the Discovery Channel, created by Pilgrim Films & Television, by which host Mike Rowe has been shown performing duties along side the employees. The show premiered from November 2003 using two pilot incidents. It came back on July 26, 2005, running before September 12, 2012 for 8 seasons. The atmosphere of the show was re focused in Australia for the season, advertised as Dirty Jobs Down Under. A European variant is also of this show, hosted by former goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel. On November 2 1, 2012, Mike Rowe announced that Dirty Jobs had been cancelled by Discovery Channel.
