Paratroopers Captain'Rip' Murdock and Sergeant Johnny Drake are mysteriously Arranged to Go to Washington, DC. He disappears earlier his picture can be taken by newspaper photographers when Drake learns he is usually to be given the Medal of Honor. Murdock tracks him down, where he sees Drake is dead along with follows the clues. Twists that are unexpected are revealed by investigations. Rip sets out to learn whatever they could and discovers that Johnny was accused of murder. He falls in love with Coral whose husband Johnny is assumed to have murdered.
