When Dayveon, 13, loses his big brother to a violent death, he has a hard time finding his way in a poor Arkansas town where he was born and raised. Because there are no parents or other role models around, Dayveon gets caught up in a fight. He can't choose between the friendship of his sister's boyfriend and the local gang.
