A documentary crew goes to a remote village in England to record the lives of a cult called "Friends at the End." F.A.T.E was once a big religion, but after a miscalculated doomsday prediction in the 1950s, the number of followers has dropped. They have been linked to the disappearances and exile of former members in recent years. This year, their crops have failed. Except for the potatoes In need of money, the gang goes to a local rehab center to find a new member: Rachel. Rachael brings new life to the group, and when she turns the head of a long-time member, old friendships start to fall apart. They believe that the comet that will end the world is near. Everything the cult has worked for could be in danger because of new information that comes to light.
