Flora Poste, a spunky London society girl orphaned at the age of 19, finds a new home with her gruff cousins, the Starkadders of Cold Comfort Farm, in this adaption of the satirical British novel. Flora alters the Starkadders' lives permanently when she settles into their rural estate, bringing the backward clan up to speed and finding inspiration for her novel in the process.
