When she helps an unaccompanied minor return to Chicago to investigative reporter, a widower and her dad Jonathan delayed. Equipped with a lack of flights, Sydney is marooned for several days in the Windy City her dwelling since a girl -- and tags combined with their exuberantly family, his daughter, and Jonathan until she can find a flight. Jonathan makes her a bargain: he helps her chase down the narrative of her late parents met, and she helps him to compose the xmas narrative and retain his occupation, and along the way, sparks sort between them.
