During the holidays, Claire (Alexandra Breckenridge), a New York City venture investor, takes a vacation to a little village in Vermont and becomes a guest of the Fortenbury Bookstore. There are no Christmas festivities going on due to last year's flood and the bookstore is in bad shape when Claire gets there. The owner, Andrew (Jamie Spilchuk), first rejects all of her recommended upgrades, so she quickly takes on the challenge of revitalizing the store. A romance develops between Claire and Andrew, who join her in restoring the yuletide spirit as a result of Claire's infectious positivity. Then, in the new year, Claire learns that Andrew has decided to put the bookstore up for sale. In order for Andrew to follow his heart, will the Christmas spirit be enough?
