Charlie's Angels is a remake made by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar for ABC. It is based on the same-named series from 1976, which was made by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts. The series was on ABC from September 22 to November 10, 2011. A new version of the original show has been in the works since 2009. Even though Charlie's Angels was supposed to have 13 episodes, production ended on October 14, 2011, after only four episodes. This was because the show got very low ratings and reviews. It used up three of the remaining four episodes and ended on ABC on November 10, 2011. The show got mostly bad reviews from critics because of its acting, plot, and action scenes. Charlie's Angels is currently for sale on DVD from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
