Max is a veteran of the wedding-planning racket. His latest -- and last -- gig is a hell of a fête, involving stuffy period costumes for its caterers, a vain, hyper- sensitive singer that believes he is a Gallic James Brown, and a morose, micromanaging dress chose to create Max's nighttime as miserable as you possibly can. However, what makes the event bitter to survive would be that Joisette, ostensible girlfriend and Max's colleague, seems to have written off him, while flirting with a younger host coolly going about her duties. It's going to become a lengthy night... especially when the groom's airborne serenade will get penalized.
