The cast comprised a Selection of Awardwinning actors, including Rachel Griffiths, Sally Field, Calista Flockhart, Rob Lowe, and Patricia Wettig. Sally Field received a Prime Time Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance during the show. Rachel Griffiths was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and two prime time Emmy Awards for her work with the series. On ABC, the series completed its fifth and final season in May 2011. On May 1-3, 2011, it had been announced that ABC had decided to terminate the show.
