Action reminiscent of John Carpenter's films from the 1980s. Despite her reservations, a young woman is compelled to face her anxieties and fight in order to deport an old thing back to where it came from. The film, which takes place inside an underground military base known as The Artemis Black Site, combines elements of an Escape From New York-style survival narrative with Lovecraftian overtones and the creation of a large-scale mythology.
