Amiable slackers Bill and Ted are again roped to a fantastical experience when a villain from the future, De Nomolos, sends robot duplicates of their two lads replace and to complete them. The robot doubles succeed in killing Ted and Bill, however, the two are determined to flee the after life, challenging the Grim Reaper to a series of games to be able to go back to the land of the living.
