Leonard Hoffman is a down-on-his-luck insurance salesman. The fact that he is the father of triplet kids who all wish to attend Yale complicates matters. Blanche Rickey is also concerned about money; her husband is a millionaire with a weak heart, and she fears he will spend all of his money before dying. Blanche meets Leonard and concocts a homicidal plan that she thinks will solve both of their issues.
