After a car mishap outside of a tiny hamlet in the middle of nowhere, Rachel's adolescent daughter, Hannah, disappears, and Rachel searches desperately for her. As Rachel draws closer to discovering that the local doctor took her daughter, unexplained deaths start to occur in her wake. Neither he nor his wife ever got over the death of their teenage daughter, and it seems that Hannah is the ideal surrogate for their lost child. If she doesn't want to spend the rest of her life in this role, Rachel must urgently find and save her daughter.
