A gift is bought by richard Martin. The most of the family's kids names the product Andrew. "Bicentennial Man" follows the life and times of Andrew, a robot purchased like a household appliance programmed to perform menial tasks. Since Andrew begins to experience emotions and creative idea, the Martin family finds that they don't have an ordinary robot.
