Phaim, a Muslim of Bengali origin born in Italy 22 years ago, lives with his family in the multiethnic Torpignattara neighbour-hood of Rome, acts as a tradition steward, and plays in a ring. In a concert, he also matches no rules, his precise contrary: pure impulse, and Asia. The attraction between them is instantaneous, and Phaim might have to figure out how to reconcile his passion to the woman having the most inviolable of Islam's rules: no sex before marriage.
