Two schoolgirls are molested in a motel in a small beach town by a middle-aged man. Mia, a teenage receptionist on duty that night, is the sole witness. She remains silent out of fear of losing her job. Meanwhile, 12-year-old Wen, one of the victims, discovers that her ordeal is far from over. Mia and Wen will have to forge their own way out of a world that provides them no protection.
