David, a robotic boy -- the first of the kind programmed to love -- is adopted as a test case also his wife and by way of a Cybertronics employee. Though he becomes the youngster, a series of unexpected circumstances get this lifetime impossible for David. Without acceptance by humans or machines, David embarks on a journey to find where he belongs, discovering a world where the line between machine and robot is both thin and enormous.
