Sonic the Hedgehog Adventures is an American animated television series based on the Sega video game franchise of the same name. It first aired in September of 1993. Sonic and Tails try to stop Dr. Robotnik and his robots from taking over Mobius. Simultaneously, another Sonic series, just titled Sonic the Hedgehog, premiered. Adventures' light-hearted tone and whimsical stories presented Sonic as skillful and cunning, whereas Robotnik and his robot companions were inept.
