Emma and Anas are closest friends, yet everything in their lives appears to divide them apart, from their social origins to their personalities. Adolescentes follows the lives of two teenagers from the time they are 13 to the time they are 18. During this time, their lives change a lot and they do things for the first time. Through their personal stories, the film gives a unique picture of France and its recent history.
