Bakery owner Kate Holiday, has cookie requests than she's the time and energy to fill this christmas, and when her boyfriend suddenly breaks up any shred of xmas joy she hung onto, instantly disappears. After the previous ornament hangs on the tree and goes to bed, she awakens the next morning to just a bit of Christmas magic. She gets the surprise of her life once Chip, a handsome soldier who might or might not function as that the Nutcracker Prince out of Tchaikovsky's"The Nutcracker," looks in her living room.
