During the Civil War at 17th century England, a small group of deserters flee through an overgrown field by the struggle that is raging. They are captured by means of an alchemist, who forces the group to aid him in his hunt to find a treasure that he considers is buried within the area. Crossing a vast mushroom circle, which provides their original meal, the group quickly descend into a chaos of arguments, fighting paranoia, and, as it will become clear that the treasure might be something aside from gold, even they slowly become victim into the terrifying energies trapped in the field.
