A demonic tree grabs the young monk Taka and his three followers. Taka gets away with the help of the Monkey King's magic stick and decides to go free his friends. Along the way, he meets a strange ally named Meiyan. She is a girl who is half human and half monster. As Taka and his new friend set off on a great adventure, they will face many hardships and fights, and they may very well decide the fate of humanity and the whole universe.
