Kim Won-kang, a retired professional soccer player, finds himself in East Timor by chance after a string of failed business ventures involving pipe dreams. There, he sees children playing soccer barefoot on rocky fields. This inspires him to start a program to teach children in developing countries how to play the game properly. As soon as he learned that the nation did not have a single sporting goods outlet, he recognized a fresh opportunity for his company and devised a plan to make a lot of money as quickly as possible by selling sports shoes to children who did not have footwear. Unfortunately, no one there can afford to pay $60 for a pair of shoes, even on a generous installment plan, and before he knows it, he is reduced to coaching a squad of ragged 10-year-olds, and the future does not look promising at all. Published by the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
