The movie focuses on the representatives of those Thirteen colonies that are initial that engaged in the Second Continental Congress. 1776 depicts the following three months of deliberation (and, oftentimes, acrimonious debate) that headed up to the signing up of one of the most important records from the History of the United States, the Declaration of Independence.
