Ed Goodson, a frank and opinionated father, enjoys making uninvited and frequently grossly politically incorrect remarks to everyone who will listen. Henry, a struggling writer-turned-unpaid blogger, and Vince, the meek half of his husband/wife real estate combination with Kathleen, are not immune to Ed's rants. Ed offers Henry to move in with him when Henry can't afford to pay his roommate Sam's rent. Henry complies, knowing that the verbal onslaught would continue and that there is no way out at this point.
